1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files your browser saves to your device when you visit a site. We use a few related technologies too, such as localStorage, and everything in this policy applies to those as well.
2. Our approach
We keep cookies to a minimum. Our visitor analytics (Plausible) is cookieless and sets nothing on your device. The only analytics that uses cookies, Microsoft Clarity, stays off until you accept the banner, and we don't run any advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
- iva_consent_v1 stores your consent choice in your browser's localStorage, so we're not asking again on every page. There's no personal data in it, and it stays until you clear your site data or change your choice under Cookie settings.
Analytics (only with your consent)
- _clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM come from Microsoft Clarity, which powers our anonymised session replays and behaviour heatmaps. Input fields are masked automatically, and Clarity's optional identification features are turned off. Lifetimes run from end-of-session up to a year. None of them are set unless you accept the banner, and they're cleared the moment you withdraw consent or clear your site data.
Our other analytics tool, Plausible, measures aggregate visitor statistics without any cookies and is therefore not listed above. That's the whole list. We don't run any other tracking, advertising, or social-media cookies on this website.
4. Consent and your choices
The first time you visit, you'll see a banner with two choices: Accept all (essential plus analytics) or Essential only. You can revisit that decision whenever you like through Cookie settings in the footer, or by clearing your site data in the browser.
And if you don't choose at all, nothing analytics-related runs. We treat no answer as a no.
5. Browser controls
Your browser can block or delete cookies on its own, and doing that for instantview.ai won't break anything. The only difference you'll notice is the consent banner coming back on your next visit, since the choice we'd saved is gone.
6. Third parties
Only one third party sets cookies here, and it sits behind the consent gate: Microsoft, for Clarity. Plausible, our cookieless analytics, is processed in the EU and sets no cookies at all. Our Privacy Policy has the wider subprocessor picture, including where data lives and how we handle international transfers.
7. Changes
If we ever add a cookie or switch a vendor, we'll update this page and bring the banner back so you can consent again. The date at the top always tells you which version you're reading.
